 Over the last decades, the locals of the South-West have become more and more aware of the beauty but also of the fragility of coastal areas. Countless intitiatives have been formed to protect and preserve the regions' assets for future generation. The following list - which is only a snapshot of the multitudes of activities carried out by local community groups - presents some case studies undertaken by community groups.
