Bunbury hosts the most southern mangroves in Western Australia What are mangroves, how do they survive, what are their functions and what is there significance in Bunbury??
As part of National Science Week, The Royal Society of WA with the Leschenault Catchment Council and the Dept of Water, will host an evening on the natural history of the Leschenault Inlet estuary to raise public awareness about this estuary. Bring the family to learn about mangroves in the estuary, with 'hands-on" activities using microscopes.
